Construction Project Manager
$160 Million dollar expansion of Westfield Kotara, with Kmart, JB Hi-Fi and Toys "R" Us temporarily closed. This redevelopment included significant building alterations to accommodate ZARA and H&M alongwith the new Youth and Urban Precinct and new look Kmart and JB Hi-Fi. This development also included the extension of "The Rooftop" precinct which included the opening of a gym, six restaurants and Timezone. There were also changes in the car park with over 500 spaces added. The new level 3 car park features both outdoor and undercover car spaces and a solar-powered shade canopy, as part of the centre’s broader sustainability redevelopment with 1.6 megawatt of solar panels installed on the project during the redevelopment.
Construction Project Manager
$310 Million project comprising expansion of the existing shopping centre from 124,000m2 to 132,000m2 of NLA, including multi-storey carpark deck and new mall. Demolition immediately adjacent to the adjoining tenancies. In excess of $55 million in variations accommodated in the last 6 months of the project as works expanded into the existing centre. The development included upgrading the existing stormwater system to protect the centre and adjoining properties from a 1:100 year rain event. This included, 150lm of creek stabilisation, over 600lm of twin box culverts, diversion of 330lm of 1200mm dia sub-main sewer, tunnelling under 6 lanes of RMS road whilst operating and numerous authority asset relocation's within a trading shopping centre precinct.
