A native of Cork city and based in both London and Cork, Jonathan Grey’s primary business activity is leading Ovation Incentives - a technology focused performance improvement agency specialising in HR and channel sales environments. Ovation’s global SaaS and mobile solutions help to influence, recognise and reward the behaviour of employees, channels or customers to drive engagement and deliver returns. In 2023 he launched OptionsCard.ie, a multi-brand gift card specifically focused on the Irish business and consumer gifting market. Through Ovation Jonathan is heavily involved in the gift card and corporate business incentive markets in Europe and in April 2017 became President of his industry body – Incentive Marketing Association Europe. In 2017 he was named by US Incentive Magazine as one of the top 25 most influential people in the industry globally. In 2023 he was honoured with a Lifetime Achievement Awards by the IMA in Boston, and IMA Europe in London, in recognition of his contributions towards the advancement of the incentive marketing industry. Jonathan is also very active in UK entrepreneurial networks and is a founding director, and former Chairman the Irish International Business Network (www.IIBN.com) – a global non-for-profit networking group connecting Irish entrepreneurs and business professionals.Previously, he founded and directed GreatDaysOut.ie, an Irish gift experience company, until its sale in February 2009. Prior to starting his own businesses in 1999, Jonathan Grey was a public relations and online marketing specialist practising in San Francisco and London for Information Technology companies specialising in payment systems, encryption and smart cards. Graduating from University in 1993, Jonathan holds an honours bachelor’s degree in economics and computer science from University College Cork, Ireland. He also holds a post graduate diploma in Public Relations from the Dublin Institute of Technology, Ireland.
