I am a Partner in the Financial Services Disputes & Investigations team at Eversheds Sutherland (International) LLP and lead the London Banking Litigation Practice.I specialise in all forms of banking litigation as well as internal investigations for financial services clients.I am a specialist in litigation involving the application of the Quincecare duty and successfully defended HSBC in its dispute with Stanford International Bank (which concluded shortly after a positive judgment for the bank in the UK Supreme Court in 2022.I also regularly advise on issues of privilege, complex cross border fraud and jurisdiction disputes as well as all many of contractual issues arising from complex banking documentation.I am part of a cross-disciplinary team of financial services litigation, investigations, regulatory enforcement and corporate crime lawyers. Operating from our offices in the UK, USA, the Middle East and Asia, Eversheds Sutherland can provide coverage in multiple jurisdictions.
