CurrentServed as Lead Business Analyst for the Engineering Support for Identity Services (ESIS) program (Department of Homeland Security). Elicts requirements and user stories from Product Owners and government stakeholders and coordinates development priorities with SAFe Agile Release Engineeers and Scrum Masters.Provided Human-Centered Design (HCD) guidance for My Navy Portal (US Navy PEO MLB program), a Digital Experience Portal (DXP) for all Navy personnel and family members (http://my.navy.mil). Led a UX team of 4-6 designers and business analysts. Planned and facilitated Career & Life Event design working groups with Manpower, Personnel, Training & Education (MPT&E) stakeholders to elicit design requirements. Leveraged market research, user research, and customer feedback to develop solutions that addressed customer and user pain points. Supported the definition, development, and test of MNP User Interface mockups/wireframes, reusable design components, and Style Guides. Developed a prototype of a Sailor Career Dashboard to demonstrate a proof of concept while adhering to UX design principles. Collaborated with Scrum Masters and DevSecOps teams as an advocate for intended end users throughout the entire Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).Applied processes from HCD and Human Systems Integration (HSI)-related standards, guidance, and best practices to company-wide Communities of Excellence (CoE). Contributes to Business Development (BD) and capture management initiatives such as Request for Information (RFI), Request for Proposal (RFP), and whitepaper development.
