It has been my pleasure to teach warfighter centered design and military scrum master courses to active duty and reserve military, and government civilians and contractors. I've also led design think workshops for a multitude of problem sets to efficiently conduct root cause analysis and solution development. This is my passion!

Modernizing our software systems and infrastructure using a human-centered approach! I lead network and systems engineers to modernize the IT infrastructure that enables testing and evaluation of tactical communications systems across multiple networks.

Co-founded and led the Advanced Concepts Cell, which created a low-cost, computer vision-based, artificially intelligent system to improve access control and physical security. Co-founded the Focused Accelerated Solutions Team, designed to create a culture of innovation by sourcing problems from employees, and then enabling employees to solve problems with cultural and organizational change, automation, and AI. Created a fellowship program that paired technically competent Marines with local industry partners to fill organizational knowledge gaps.

Co-wrote thesis: Analysis of emerging and current subsystem technologies in support of warfighting capabilities, which created an approach to determining the viability of integrating commercial subsystems with legacy military systems. Additionally, this research identified potential industry partners that offer commercial-off-the-shelf technologies ready for military adoption.

Planned and led a complete overhaul of my organization’s combat preparedness training, which ensured that 250+ Marines and Sailors from 30+ professional disciplines could meet any challenge, stateside or abroad. This role required creative thinking, artful expectation and personality management, and skillful negotiation to bring my vision to fruition.

Led the workforce and administrative team that provided for the needs of more than 4,800 coalition members while executing the reduction of forces in Afghanistan during Operation Enduring Freedom 12. Created an automated awards processing tool that significantly reduced the time to process and error rate for over 3,000 personal and unit awards.

Designed and led the development of a web-based personnel tracker designed to ensure Department of Defense employees in the New Orleans region had the means to communicate their whereabouts in the event that a hurricane forced evacuation and displacement. This system leveraged commercial SMS mass notification technology.

Trained entry-level Marines and Navy medical providers in physical fitness, rappelling, survival swimming, land navigation, and other essential basics in preparation for Basic Reconnaissance Course.Professionalized the military training and education program for the entire organization.

As a member of the Battalion Operations Team, I developed creative solutions for the configuration and set up of the mobile operations center. As a member of the Operations Team with Battalion Landing Team 2/8 aboard the USS Kearsarge, I assisted in the planning and execution of multiple ship-to-shore security cooperation exercises as well as Operation Rapid Cheetah (cordon and search) in Kosovo. Travelled to Spain and Greece for nation partner exercises to strengthen relationships and bolster security. As a basic rifleman, I conducted jungle patrols and other security operations for personnel and equipment as the United States ended its Panama Canal security mission.
