My names is Fleming James I have worked on and off since I was 14. I started out working in the summer of 2019 as a busser for a local diner called slim goodies. I worked at slim goodies for around 5 months, then covid hit and everything was closing down so I started doing construction for my neighbor in the summer of 2020. I have been doing that on and off, when I am in New Orleans, from 2020 to this day in 2024. In between construction I work as a bar back and bartender for Parasols on magazine st in New Orleans and The Gallery on magazine st in New Orleans as well. I have been doing that on and off since August of 2022. Parasols is a local bar and restaurant in New Orleans in which I was a bar back, server, and a busser. The Gallery is an event space for weddings and other events in which I was a bar back and bartender. This is what I have done over the years and it gives me a great understanding of the restaurant and bar industry. Through these customer service heavy jobs I have developed great people skills and strong exclamation point on teamwork. I learned leadership through being the head bar back giving me the oversight on all the bus boys on staff.
