Under the direction of the Manager, Information Systems Department, provides applicationsupport to user Departments. Acts as the key liaison between the business community, vendorsand the IS Department. Responsible for Tier 2 support of applications.Translates customers’ high level requirements into functional specifications for the IS Departmentand manages changes to such specifications. Uses a variety of platforms to provide automatedsystems applications to customers. Responsible for gathering, compiling and synthesizinginformation with regard to technology processes and/or systems. Primary function is to operate the audio system for Worship Services and special events such as lectures, weddings, funerals, plays, musicals, concerts, etc. Secondary functions include AV support, podcasting, and anything else to ensure that events run smoothly.2020: Assisted transitioning church services to online only live services during COVID-19 lockdown.

Support and troubleshoot Enterprise-wide applications at Hawaii Pacific University with a focus on SCT Sungard/Ellucian Banner. Other applications include Luminis Portal, Blackboard, fsaAtlas, Cognos, Oracle Reports, and other custom applications. Also functions as Banner Security Administrator.Banner skillset: Familiar with Student, General, Financial Aid, Finance, and Accounts Receivable modules (currently at version 8.x). Some exposure to Workflow and Document Management. Highest expertise is with the Student module including Admissions, Registration, Catalog/Schedule, and General Student. Am able to navigate through most INB forms and can also query tables (Oracle SQL). Also familiar with Letter Generation and Population Selection, and also function as the Web Tailor administrator for Banner Self Service.

Provide assistance to the University in the collection, organization, and dissemination of administrative information and the preparation of automated letters, reports, and other such document requirements through detailed and documented systems analysis.Served as Banner Security Administrator and lead Banner troubleshooter.

Provide evening hours coverage primarily during weekdays, and possible weekend coverage. Supervises part-time staff during the evening and weekend shifts. Perform day-to-day front end management of workstations. Provide technical support services to University users. Install, administer, trouble-shoot and resolve computer hardware, software and network connectivity problems.

Provide telephone support services to university users. Trouble-shoot and resolve hardware and software problems. Install, configure, and maintain personal computers.

Assisted landline telephone customers with questions about their telephone services and telephone billing. Handled service orders to install new telephone service, move existing telephone service, and disconnect service. Provided in-house technical and helpdesk-type support.

Facilitated communication between deaf customers and hearing customers by use of TDD/TTY devices. Monitored Telephone Conferencing bridges and operated the reservations system. Provided in-house technical and helpdesk-type support.

Served as both "0" and "411" operator. As "0" operator, assisted customers with long distance calling and other general telephone questions. As "411" operator assisted customers with obtaining a requested phone number. Served as a "Relief Supervisor" which included responsibilities such as force management and "irate customer" call escalation.
