Recipient of the company's first "Bear Down" award for focusing in on, identifying and resolving a particularly difficult technical problem critical to product success.

First to market provider of virtual tape/library storage systems (disk-disk-tape). Duties included database development, virtual device development (virtual IBM tape drive and library), management of 50+ server test lab (Windows, Solaris, Linux, AS/400, s/390, unisys, HP Nonstop, multi-TB RAID systems, tape libraries, etc), and full qualification of the Neartek VSE product.Neartek was acquired by EMC.

Enterprise storage resource management software. Responsible for development of the automation test framework and automated functional and regression tests of HighGround's Storage Resource Manager's (SRM) database scanning components. Also served as team lead for 2 product efforts: SRM File Prospector and SRM Surveyor. The ultimate success of the File Prospector project led to my first receipt of a performance recognition award from Sun Microsystems.HighGround was acquired by Sun Microsystems in April 2001.

this was my first true software position, and my first startup (there were 3 full time employees when I joined). For this company I participated in all tasks, including SQL development, ETL pre-processing development, network management (Windows & Novell), QA, customer support and master JAVA practitioner (coffee, not the development language). I even dabbled in pre-sales and visited customer sites in North America.Satuit was the stepping stone to my software career

Initially, focused on developing therapeutics for peripheral neuropathy. My position expanded into the projects searching for treatments of stroke. In these efforts, I applied my skills in EE applications toward neuroscience, developing equipment, software and procedures to measure and assess recovery of function from CNS and PNS insults.
