Als toekomstontwikkelaar fungeerde ik 'met een brede blik en verre horizon' als voelspriet voor de afdeling. Ik hield zicht op technologische, maatschappelijke, wettelijke ontwikkelingen en andere transities en vertaalde deze, waar nodig, naar de bedrijfsvoering van de afdeling. Ik was hierin verantwoordelijk voor het signaleren, agenderen en informeren bij mijn collega's. Ik bracht, waar nodig, teams met deskundigen bij elkaar en rapporteerden naar verschillende andere collega's (afdelingen, bestuur, directie) over de impact van toekomstige ontwikkelingen. Binnen deze taak hield ik mij, onder andere, bezig met de volgende onderwerpen: microverontreiniging, bronaanpak, Routekaart Circulair: toewerken naar een 100% circulaire waterketen. Water, energie, grondstoffen en klimaatneutraliteit. Samenwerking met ketenpartners, effluent als zoetwaterbron, Projectleider 'Aquafarm', het belang van de waterketen in ruimtelijke processen (NOVEX, vertaling Water en Bodem Sturend, provinciale ruimtelijke plannen), procesontwerp en begeleiding, creatieve werkvormen zoals ruimte creëren voor de kunstenaarsblik en Serious Gaming werkvormen.

I am involved in both a Blue Deal project in Bahir Dar, Ethiopia as well as a RVO-project in Hawassa, Ethiopia that aims to develop and implement Water Allocation Plans (WAP) for both river basins. As project member I am involved in the stakeholder engagement and management around developing and implementing the WAP. Activities include: - stakeholder mapping - stakeholder engagement mechanisms- raise water awareness in the area; both for inhabitants as well as stakeholders - building a stakeholder platform- setting up a permitting and tariffing structure for fresh water use with stakeholders

As head of operations, I oversaw the daily logistics of our fleet (9 boats). This spans the logistics for the daily cruises we offer all year round, the hospitality groups on our private boats and office logistics. The operational department oversees the connection of the different aspects of the organisation (marketing, sales, finance) and brings them together in our daily practices. Responsible for: - Daily operations and logistics (9 boats, on average 25 people working per day)- Overseeing and supporting the organisation (staff) in general- Drawing up both short- and long-term business strategy and ensuring these are communicated and implemented- Redesigning organizational processes to improve efficiency and results as the company is maturing from a scale up to a more settled state.

The first year I acted as Chair of the Advisory Board. I was responsible for organising the meetings, informing the members and following up on to do's. Moreover, I functioned as port-of-call for all questions and communication between the Advisory Board and the Board.

D.E.R.M. is a surf- and extreme sports oriented student-society based in Amsterdam. The society has 430 active members and organises different activities throughout the years (up to 150 participants). As chair, I was responsible for both the daily project planning, as well as the long-term projects (up to several years). Making the weekly, monthly, and yearly planning for the board and society, and overseeing its execution. I was responsible for the (professional) performance of my fellow board members, and all the activities organised for and by the society(-members). I chaired the board meetings (twice a week), and the general members’ assembly (5 times a year). In all internal and external events, I functioned as public chairman and spokesperson. Special accomplishments this year were the professionalizing of the society through the digitalizing of several board-tasks, creating and implementing a new members-policy, and evaluating and updating our legal position.

As Introduction committee, we had to organise an introduction weekend for 150 new members. This entails a weekend of three full days and two nights abroad for 150 people and up. This includes the organisation of supporting facilities, logistics, and activities in which new members can get to know each other as well as the society. As chair I was responsible for the functioning of the committee, the end result and acted as a spokesperson and port of call for the committee, the society members, and the board. Running up to the event we had weekly meetings and workdays scheduled, which I chaired.

Marleen Kookt is a catering service that offers healthy, fresh, and sustainable dishes to be brought to you at home. In average, we would cook for up to five hundred people a day. As help in the kitchen, I helped with the preparation of meals and thereby supporting the two chefs. Tasks were cutting, mixing, and preparing the dishes, and packing them for transport. An important part of this was thinking along in the preparation and coordination, and checking the results before distributing with a pro-active attitude.

I am trained as CWO-sailing instructor (ZI-A). In my first year, I was teaching children and organising play- and evening activities during the camp. During the following years, my tasks grew alongside with my responsibilities, to week-coordinator (overseeing the whole camp with up to 550 children). As a more experienced instructor, I supervised younger instructors in their teaching-trajectory and trained new instructors.

As a member of the committee, I collected information, did interviews, and wrote content. Apart from the content, we also organised the logistics; getting it to the printer, and distributor. As treasurer, I kept an overview of the financials, and created the annual financial report for the committee.

Also, I had to keep the client-information database up to date and complete. Lastly, I prepared the follow-up information, and contract-possibilities for interested clients.

As a member of the staff, I was responsible for hosting guests, picking up orders, serving orders, picking up of plates (more than two at the time) and managing the payments. Often, I hosted excluded groups, being responsible for the whole experience of the guests in terms of coordination, food and beverages and hosting.
