• Developed a technical report and approach report to provide policymakers with guidance on implementation of Just Transition principles in achieving and increasing ambition of NDCs.• Supported the Ministry of Planning for a national government in developing a Just Transition Policy and Roadmap with the aim of facilitating an effective and inclusive transition to a low carbon emissions economy. This project involved writing four Issues Papers on the Just Transition and developing a Draft Policy, along with a stakeholder consultation process to gain inputs.• Contributed to a scoping study to establish a mitigation outcomes rating agency. Expert interviews were used as a basis to prepare a report for an overview of a carbon credit rating methodology that can be applied by an independent carbon credit rating agency.• Assessment of limits and opportunities of carbon credit generation through humanitarian activities for ICRC.• Development of a Methodology for Measuring Multilateral Development Bank Investment Alignment with the Paris Agreement.• Conducted research in international sustainable housing standards for SEMARNAT project on sustainable housing in Mexico.• Updated guidelines for Measurement, Reporting and Verification (MRV) tools, such as the Mitigation Action Assessment Protocol (MAAP) and associated products, a World Bank tool to assess and compare carbon assets. This tool includes four modules: Program Development, Management Entity, Finance, and Sustainable Development Benefit.• Organized a panel “Combining Circular Economy Principles with GHG Reduction Strategies" alongside the European Economic and Social Committee and the International Council of Chemical Associations for COP25.
