After five years at Procter & Gamble and two years in the non-governmental sector, I have been serving for over 23 year in the UN including as: UNICEF Country Representative in Brazil, Argentina and Bosnia and Herzegovina and more recently as Regional Director for UNFPA for Eastern Europe and Central Asia.What drives me:- Advocate and position the rights of vulnerable groups in particular children and women on the political agenda;- Establish strategic partnerships and alliances with government, civil society, private sector, multilateral organizations, bilateral institutions, media groups, celebrities etc; - Mobilize the private sector for results for women, children and young people;- Develop knowledge on sensitive issues such as demographic resilience, gender equality, access to family planning, gender-based violence, child poverty, juvenile justice, homicides of adolescents, peacebuilding and reconciliation;- Mobilize society through active use and presence in traditional and social media;- Raise and leverage funds;- Lead multi-sectoral teams across 17 countries.
