Managing a group of 40 young professionals with the aim of raising awareness and funds for Human Rights Watch. Our goal was to raise € 200.000,- for Human Rights Watch by having a strong social media presence, organizing several fundraising events (an auction, a charity dinner and the annual Haus Am See party) and, ultimately, running the New York Marathon 2024. We organized the several events succesfully, all finished the New York Marathon and raised € 234.366,- for Human Rights Watch.

- Conduct in-depth research on case law, statutes and regulations to support attorneys in building strong legal argumentation and litigation strategy.- Assist in reviewing and analyzing legal documents, contracts and agreements to ensure accuracy, compliance and relevance to ongoing cases.

- Providing private counseling to a group of students about both academic and personal decisions.- Assessing ability and potential in students and coordinating with fellow professionals as well as parents.- Encouraging students to perform to the best of their abilities.- Seeking not only to inspire them to be confident students, but self-confident adolescents in general.

Organized the annual ‘Jurist & Werk’ conference to facilitate and promote contact between law students and potential employers. I was in charge of choosing a relevant theme for the conference, contacting high-profile lecturers within their respective fields and maintaining contact with them. Unfortunately, due to the COVID-19 pandemic the conference did not take place. However, our team made sure that the aftermath of this cancelled edition would not risk the reputation of the ‘Jurist & Werk’ foundation and possibly endanger future editions by handling everything in an orderly fashion.

Mooting Society ‘Tobias Asser’ is one of the oldest legal debating societies in the Netherlands. We organized mooting competitions, guided law students through mooting competitions nationwide and we visited high-profile law firms. As a member of the board I was involved with a wide range of tasks, with a special emphasis on public relations and marketing.
