About Floyd Benfield

I started teaching in 1994 as a Special Education teacher. I worked with an array of special education settings and was a School Base Chair for eight years. In 2003 I earned a master's degree in Educational Technology. I worked as a Technology Facilitator from 2002 until the end 2016 2017 school year. In the fall of 2017, I had the opportunity to work as a CTE Facilitator at Ashley High and use both my experience as a special education teacher and as a Technology Facilitator to work with students in Career Technical education programs.
