As a Tribe Leader of Magalu Ads I was responsible for building an amazing team, defining and executing the product's strategy and validating the product architecture.Magalu Ads is the advertiser platform of Magazine Luiza, one of the leading players on Retail in Brazil.The Magalu Ads tribe has the mission of creating the product that will be used in the Magalu ecosystem, and for that we use different technologies. Our architecture is based on events, we use Kafka as our message broker. There are multiple Java microservices that use Kafka and REST/gRPC APIs to communicate, we also have a BFF (back for front) in Ruby on Rails for a React front-end. As we process a lot of data, Spark (pyspark) and Airflow are used. We also have multiple databases for different use cases, PostgreSQL, Redis and MongoDB.All architecture is in the Google Cloud Platform. For continuous delivery we ArgoCD. We mostly use Prometheus and Grafana as monitoring tools, both for product and performance metrics.

Tech Growth team was responsible for support and growth the technology team.
