Muckno Lodge's charming 4**** Star Self Catering Cottages are located in the beautiful countryside of Castleblayney, Co Monaghan, beside the tranquil Lough Muckno, a favorite of keen anglers, and the increasingly renouned 18 Hole Championship Golf Course- Concra Wood Golf & Country Club.

Muckno Lodge is a small family business start-up and at it's conception, I carried out the Market Research and prepared the Business Plan which was accepted by our financial institution and by Cavan-Monaghan Leader, a funding body responsible for the Rural Development /Tourism Programme in Cavan & Monaghan.

I was also primarily responsible for developing & scripting content for our website- www.mucknolodge.ie, and social media sites, and continue to manage these on an ongoing basis. This includes managing and monitoring SEO for our site.

I also develop all marketing material, including brochures, business cards etc, and liase with our advertising partners to develop special promotions and increase our online presence.

In my current role I am responsible for the development and execution of an effective Marketing Communications plan for both our internal organisation and external customers and stakeholders.

Key responsibilities include:
Website content management;
Production of an internal ezine;
Product Marketing to include- development of effective product marketing/sales collateral;
Manage communication around new product launches or promotions, and associated comms which may include PR, DM's, launch event, Sales presentations, branding etc;
Develop and manage a calender of Customer events which include a mix of corporate hospitality, Industry Engagements/ Seminars, and Product Launches.

• As eircom Wholesale went through a period of reorganization an interim role was developed to manage perceptions of our external customers.
• Scripted and managed content and release of all communications delivered to eircom Wholesales customers, to include Press Releases, Direct Mail Shots and letters from the MD detailing important company announcements on trading, progress on re-organisation and product developments.
• Managed Customer Events and Conferences from initial concept to final delivery.
• Involved in the re-branding of eircom Wholesale with the aim of re-energizing the company image in order to instill customer confidence as well as raising internal staff motivation, during difficult trading period.
