About Fallon M. Flowers, Msn, Bs, Rn, Whnp-Bc

I want to ensure that as we continue to have nursing shortages and nursing school applications on the rise, that black students are not left behind. It is not only integral that they are prepared, organized and inspired along their journey to become a nurse, but also from someone that looks like them.Black nurses are significantly under-represented in our field and more than ever, representation matters! The research has shown that racial congruence has positive effects on patient outcomes and this is critical in the health of Black patients. This makes a difference in the classroom and clinical education of black students pursuing nursing, as it's sometimes "hard to be what you don't see."My focus with NursingInspired LLC, is to help Black aspiring nurses to learn to prepare, plan and pay for nursing school. With the NursingInspired RxπŸ’Š, we "prescribe" custom education plans, 1:1 coaching, online courses, and organizational worksheets for students use to reach their nursing goals. We serve Black/African-American high school juniors and seniors, pre-nursing college students, adults going back to school at any age and organizations that serve in college and career planning.Students | schedule a 1:1 Discovery Call here: π‘©π’Šπ’•.π’π’š/π‘«π’Šπ’”π’„π’π’—π’†π’“π‘΅π’–π’“π’”π’Šπ’π’ˆπ‘°π’π’”π’‘π’Šπ’“π’†π’…π‘Ήπ’™ Organizations | 𝒉𝒕𝒕𝒑𝒔://π’ƒπ’Šπ’•.π’π’š/π‘΅π’–π’“π’”π’Šπ’π’ˆπ‘°π’π’”π’‘π’Šπ’“π’†π’…π‘Άπ’“π’ˆπ’‚π’π’Šπ’›π’‚π’•π’Šπ’π’π’”

During the past few summers, I served as an instructor to around 50 high school students in a course I created entitled: Nursing...Yesterday, Today, and Your Tomorrow! This course provided insight into the work role of nurses in the past, present and what it will entail in the near future. This course explored the educational requirements throughout time and what is expected in order to apply as a future nurse. Students in this course learned about the challenges and complexities of working in healthcare as well as learned to identify current public health issues of today. Additionally, students took a look into the interventions that nurses in their prospective role are expected to perform to solve those challenges. Lastly, students learned how to prepare personally, financially, mentally and more for their future as a registered nurse.
