About François-Olivier Devaux
François-Olivier DEVAUX is Civil Engineer (UCLouvain, 2003) and holds a PhD in Electrical Engineering (UCLouvain). He joined Climact as Energy and Climate Change consultant in February 2023. After his master degree, he co-founded in 2006 intoPIX, a spin-off from UCLouvain specialized in innovative video compression solutions for audio-visual applications. He joined the company in 2008 as R&D Manager. In 2010, he joined STIB as technical coordinator and manager for the Ticket to Kyoto project. This European project aimed at reducing CO2 emissions of urban public transport through innovative technological investments, ambitious corporate strategies and increased public awareness. After the completion of this project, he joined the Strategy & Innovation team at STIB. In 2015, he joined Reseau Transition, the Belgian Transition hub whose role is to inspire, connect and support communities as they self-organise around the Transition model, creating initiatives that rebuild resilience. He joined the Be Planet Foundation in 2020, supporting environmental and social transition projects all over Belgium.
