While interning at CRCICA, I was privileged to be a co-rapporteur with Dr Dahlia Hussein, the Deputy Director of CRCICA, and be on the same panel with Dr Ismail Selim, Director CRCICA, Ms. Anna Joubin-Bret, Secretary of United Nations Commission on International Trade Law, (UNCITRAL) and H.E. Dr. Nabil Elaraby, Chairman of the Board of Trustees, CRCICA, Former Secretary-General of the League of Arab States (Egypt) at the World's Sole biennial conference on the role of State Courts in International Arbitration hosted and organised by CRCICA from the 9th to the 10th of December 2018 at the beautiful city of Sharm El Sheikh. In addition, I attended other international conferences such as the Cairo Legal Franchise workshop, the Chartered Institute of Arbitration Cairo Branch’s conference on arbitrating Banking and Finance related disputes and on CRCICA’s knowledge sharing conference on the FIDIC new rainbow suite. I also worked on reports for the conferences attended and sat in on various international arbitration proceedings administered by the Centre and administered by other international institutions such as the International Chamber of Commerce.

In this capacity, I co-drafted the rules of operation for the organisation with respect to arbitration, mediation and other alternative dispute resolution methods administered by LACIAC.
