I’m a 3D animator working in Maya for the past 3 years in school. I went to Durham College’s game art program Learning modeling, Animating, texturing, and motion capture work during my time at school. Graduating with a 3-year advanced diploma. I’ve had two working experiences with the MRC Studio one working with Motion capture, both filming, acting, and cleaning it up for a commercial, and another working on hand Key animation for an indie game using Blender. I also have done two semesters of I animate, semester 2 is all about expanding one’s knowledge of hand key animation by doing body mechanic shots expanding upon the principles of animation. I also did Semester 3 working solely on human body mechanics, allowing me to grow a deeper and more rooted understanding of how to hand key action shots, how the human body moves, and how to bring it to life, as well as a brief intro to acting animation. I would say I have a solid foundation in animation and am always looking to expand my knowledge.
