My goal was to deliver projects and opportunities that contribute to the institution’s mission of democratizing education and making international opportunities available to students of all socioeconomic backgrounds.The International Relations Analyst is responsible for planning and executing internationalization projects, which seek to guarantee brand recognition both nationally and abroad. I was in charge of assuring international academic opportunities for our student body by researching, planning and facilitating scholarship funding for our students. As part of the interiorization process promoted by Brazil’s Federal Government, the project tackles the Venezuelan migrant crisis by handling the receipt, care, and integration of these migrants in Curitiba, Brazil. I participated in meetings with social service providers to guarantee that the Venezuelan population in our shelter had access to jobs, health and education. Furthermore, I was instructed to write reports for evaluation and orientation This was an essential part of the job given that progress reports had to be provided to IOM in a timely fashion.
