About Foteini Dervisi
I am an Electrical, Telecommunication and Computer Engineer with an MSc in Artificial Intelligence and Data Analytics. During my undergraduate studies, I conducted research on body-centric terahertz nanonetworks within the Wireless Communications and Information Processing Lab at the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki and I completed an internship on non-intrusive load monitoring at NET2GRID. After graduating I worked as a research assistant at the Information Technologies Institute of the Centre for Research & Technology Hellas, where I was involved in EU Horizon 2020 research projects, and as a machine learning engineer at Pragma-IoT. I am currently a Marie Skłodowska-Curie Early Stage Researcher at the British Geological Survey and a PhD student at the University of Edinburgh. I am involved in the SPIN Innovative Training Network and am working on a project concerning machine learning-based earthquake monitoring and forecasting.
