As a team leader at Integrated Management Solutions, I guided a group of 4 IT professionals, including two software developers, through various high-impact projects. A key achievement was the comprehensive rewrite and modernization of an ERP system for Namibia’s largest pharmaceutical wholesaler. This system, which transitioned from a character-based system to a GUI system, included modules for General Ledger, Cash Book, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Purchasing, Inventory Management, Sales, Dispatching, Management Information, Client Portal, and Supplier Portal.In addition to the ERP overhaul, I led the redesign and implementation of a remote ordering platform using Progress Web Client, which significantly increased the pharmaceutical wholesaler’s online sales from 15% to 50%. I also oversaw and contributed to the development of a hybrid mobile application that integrated with the ERP system, enabling customers to place orders directly from their mobile devices.These projects not only showcased my leadership abilities but also my technical expertise and ability to drive significant business improvements.
