Dance Movement psychotherapy has informed my previous work with children and adults over many years. Since 2009 I have studied Kum Nye Yoga which deepens the experience of embodiment. Kum Nye Tibetan relaxation is a gentle healing system that relieves stress, transforms negative patterns, and helps us be more balanced and healthy. Kum Nye, like Dance/Movement psychotherapy integrates the physical & the psychological healing both body and mind. Kum Nye has traditionally been used as a preparation for meditation.

Worked as part of an Early Intervention Team with mothers, babies and children under 6 who had developmental delay, dyspraxia, and or query autism spectrum disorder. Work involved assessment, family meetings, home visits, blocks of treatment for individual children as required; teaching Parenting Plus; leading movement groups for children; school visits. Since retiring from the above position I have completed a Teacher Training in Kum Nye -Tibetan Yoga, which addresses movement & sensory integration for all ages.
