Procurement Team Technical Administrator (Part-Time Hybrid Working)
My position was to provide various administrational support to the Procurement team of nine, & occasionally to other teams with tasks including the monitoring of four mailbox addresses, typing correspondence, minutes & updating spreadsheets, amending & formatting documents to ensure up-to-date consistency & compliant with the style guide, compiling & proof-reading correspondence; letters, tender documents, reports, & appendices. I was proficient in e-Procurement solutions such as MyTenders, Egress, In-Tend, Delta, & Pro-Contract. I distributed Customer Service Questionnaires to Clients to ensure future improvement, also researched potential procurement clients & opportunities on Contact Finder, Locarla & Sell2Wales. Project Manager (Part-Time Remote Working)
I have provided various services to several clients including Project Managing by specialising in an asset management database; transferring and mapping stock condition survey data or completed works onto appropriate KGI excel exports from the clients databases, these are then imported thus updating the clients information on their assets. Collections Manager (Part-Time Office Based)
In 2009 I was promoted to be responsible for maintaining the functions, systems and processes which I developed as a Collections Analyst but also manage a team of six staff who assist me in managing the debt collection and reconciliation process. My team and I managed to significantly reduce the Company’s overall debtor problem during a difficult economic time and our efforts and improvement to overall cash flow were acknowledged by the Board of Directors and shareholders at the Annual General Meeting. On the rare occasion an amicable resolution could not be agreed, we would resort to legal remedies via the County Court.

The role involved me liaising with all departments within the business to record all outstanding debt, which I would compile and report to the Board of Directors. In following the trail of debt I introduced new procedures throughout the company to enable me to streamline the collections process and reduce the company’s overall debtors. I also found areas of the business where charging errors were occurring and worked to ensure that all necessary refunds were processed in a timely manner.

This role gave me a broad knowledge of the business and the rules and regulations which govern it, including the Telecommunication Ombudsman process for major service complaints. Throughout this role I managed to reduce the number of serious complaints by always being professional and courteous with customers. I continued to increase my knowledge and proficiency in utilising the various carriers systems.

In January 2005 I joined an up and coming telecommunications company as I was looking to develop my managerial and communications skills. Within this role I was the named contact for VIP customer queries and required to monitor their accounts proactively making contact on a monthly basis to ensure a high level of service and update on new products. My role evolved to assist with the integration of new customer bases into AdEPT through acquisitions and was required to support the main call centre during peak times in dealing with customer queries.
