- coordinated the Resilience Program in Somalia and represented CESVI in two Consortia; this included covering operational/support functions (HR, logistics/procurement, finance & admin., staff safety), directing activities from planning to post-monitoring, ensuring targets and milestones are met and overseeing of day-to-day operations of 7 senior program and 14 field staff;- effectively managed two multi-year / multi-sectorial DFID and DEVCO grants under BRCiS (Building Resilient Communities in Somalia) framework in South Central Somalia (Hiraan / Mudug / Banadir Regions);- Overseen the drought emergency response and scale up of FSL operations (DFID-IRF cash transfers for 13k HH);- remote management through monitoring of a variety of indicators across different sectors (FSL, WASH, EWS, DRR, Income, CCA, Demographic, coping strategies, etc.) through online data visualization and analysis tools;- external representation through regular participation to high-level coordination meetings and technical working groups with BRCiS Consortium Partners (NRC, CWW, IRC, SCI), donors, UN agencies, etc.- business development: identification of new project proposals, participation and supervision of the entire writing process in close collaboration with Program Unit and HQ;- ensured timely submission of quality monthly/quarterly/yearly narrative and technical reports;- supported Administration Unit with financial reporting, checking coherence of expenses, budget revisions and re-alignments, projects forecasts and internal procedures / donor's compliance.

- represent the Country Director and guarantor for the proper implementation of AVSI procedures according to Operation Manual and international standards;- responsible for overall supervision of logistic / administrative / human resources procedures and strategic guidelines for Health, Education and WASH Programmes in EES;- managed 55 national, 13 regional AVSI Staff and reference point for three expatriates;- ensured effective cooperation and continued dialogue with donors, S.S. Focus: supporting 28 Primary & 1 Secondary Health Care Centers and strengthening key functions of County Health Dept.;- in charge of final implementation stages (7 months) of “Water Supply System for Sustainable Reintegration and Health in Torit – WASH-T” project (UNHCR) and phased out;- managed the final implementation stages of “Portals Piped Water Systems in Magwi Town” (Quick Impact Projects - PHASE 2, 2013/14, UN HABITAT) and phased out;- Security Focal Point for NGOs operating in Eastern Equatoria State, regularly circulating sit-reps, flash updates and attending weekly ASMT and Civil-Military Coordination meetings (CIVICON) at UNMISS.
