Assist perfusionist in total and partial cardiopulmonary bypass (CPB), Intra-Aortic Balloon (IAB), and autologous blood salvage procedures. Conduct pre- and post- procedure equipment checks using established protocols and restocked carts. Assemble, set up, and prime extracorpeal circuits using sterile/ aseptic techniques under the direction of perfusionist. Travel for organ donation recoveries, participating actively in the process, and driving and flying long distances as needed.
