With over 8 years of experience as a medical assistant/phlebotomist in the US Navy, I have developed a strong foundation in phlebotomy, patient care, and health care administration. I have a Bachelor of Science in Health Services/Allied Health/Health Sciences from Stratford University, where I acquired the knowledge and skills to deliver quality health care services and adhere to ethical standards and regulations.As a medical assistant/phlebotomist, I performed various tasks such as drawing blood, administering injections, monitoring vital signs, performing EKGs, and maintaining medical records. I used various medical equipment and software, and followed strict safety and infection control protocols. I worked with a diverse and collaborative team of health care professionals, and provided compassionate and respectful care to the military personnel and their families. I am proud to have served the naval community and contributed to their health and wellness.
