I am currently working as part of the FOH team at Acorn. Working here has helped me improve many skills such as time management and the ability to communicate clearly and concisely. I work well under the pressure of a high-stress environment and am efficient at my job. I am constantly expanding my food knowledge and flavour profiles and have learnt lots about plant-based eating and what is popular amongst consumers from working here.

Contributing to long term research project in Madagascar collecting valuable data under head scientist Peter Long from Oxford University. This project gave me insight into complex topics such as food availability and food scarcity in a developing country. I gained independent skills travelling alone including the ability to problem-solve in a stressful environment and intercultural social skills.
