In charge of media communications for the charity. Creating content, controlling their social media, writing and helping with the marketing of the charity.

Worked within the media and external relations team on a variety of projects. Created monthly and at times weekly, social media reports, wrote copy and, at times, created social posts for their platforms. Also wrote blog posts, helped with internal documents and undertook various research projects.

Working alongside this NGO's operations manager, in a team of 3 we created a project proposal for a planned operation in Sierra Leone. Initially we created a country profile and then identified a vulnerable community that would benefit from the engagement of Re:ACT’s disaster response team. We researched vulnerable communities whose positions will be exacerbated by the climate crisis. Within this role I was able to apply my learning at University to a help an NGO plan an overseas operation. I further developed my strong interpersonal skills within a team of people whilst also gaining experience presenting to working professionals in the humanitarian sector. Our work contributed to a project they plan to launch in 2023.

I worked at the head office for Caxton FX dealing with customers sales queries, issues and complaints on the telephone. I also had to undertake extensive administrative work with private and confidential documents. I demonstrated excellent communication skills and received positive customer feedback for my ability to calmly handle concerns and queries made by customers.
