Biologist researcher in the field of neurodegenerative diseases. My activity takes place at the Laboratory of Molecular Biology and Biotechnology (LAMMB) of the Fondazione Don Carlo Gnocchi_Santa Maria Nascente in Milan. A center of excellence for the rehabilitation of Alzheimer's disease, Parkinson's disease, Multiple Sclerosis, Stroke and Autism. I collaborate with a team of researchers on several research projects with the aim to identify molecular and cellular biomarkers at the level of biological fluids such as immunological, and epigenetic outcomes of disease progression and rehabilitation.

Training course for biologists organized by the National Order of Biologists Lombardy in collaboration with the Don Carlo Gnocchi Foundation to obtain the patent of Biologist-venous sampling.

I was interested in neuroinflammatory mechanisms mediated by inflammasome complex affecting neuronal network activity, and microglia function in the context of Alzheimer‘s disease. According to the aim of my Ph.D project, I was intensely interested in mice microglial cell preparation that I have established in Prof. Dr. Michael Heneka's Lab in Bonn-Germany.

post-graduate training. I was involved in the study of immunological biomarkers associated with HIV infection.

Dissertation training. University experience as part of an Erasmus project involving uniMi and Unibarcellona. I worked on the study of a polymorphism associated with the onset of Schizophrenia.
