CurrentRelationship Manager in charge of a portfolio of multinational large corporates, mainly Spanish, c/o the Madrid branch and within the international network of the Corporate & Investment Banking division of the Bank.Key areas of business:- lending: origination and execution (structuring and negotiating the detailed terms of a bilateral or syndicated line of credit);- debt and equity capital market, project finance, M&A, derivatives: origination and then, as to execution, liaising with investment banking and capital markets specialists c/o the “products factory” of the Bank.Main activities and responsibilities within the areas of business:- management and responsibility of the portfolio of existing large multinational customers, in the sense of proactive perception and satisfaction of all the financial needs of such clients;- constant liaising with the finance officers of the portfolio groups with the aim of originating new financial transactions;- marketing activity with the aim of i) identifying new business opportunities; ii) increasing the above mentioned portfolio of customers, mainly with listed first and second tier Spanish and international groups;- budgeting process and then control of the economic performances of the portfolio of customers; - preparation of financial proposals to be submitted for authorisation to the credit authorities;- negotiation and preparation of the detailed terms of a commercial proposal to be submitted to a customer;- constant contact and team working with the investment banking and capital markets specialists located in the Head Office of the Bank.- contact and interaction with the centralised functions of the Bank (treasury, local corporate centres, planning and control dept, …);- contact and negotiations with bankers of other financial institutions and with other professionals such as law firms and financial advisors.
