About Francesca Perini

Currently a project manager at TrentinoSalute4.0, the Competence Center on Digital Health as a policy instrument to coordinate the work on digital health in the region. TS4.0 represents the meeting point between the health system, research and the territory. It represents the instrument of cohesion between the guidelines of health planning, the innovation needs expressed by the Provincial Health Service and the opportunities offered by research and new digital technologies.My main projects within TS4.0 include the creation of a new model of community nurse clinic in the Tesino Region, based on telemedicine services (TreC+ Platform) and the implementation of tele-visits and tele-cooperation models in the rehabilitation settings.Previously I worked as as a Research Fellow at the Centre for Sleep and Cognition, NUS medical school in Singapore from 2018 to 2020.Before that, I worked as a Clinical Research Associate at the University of Manchester, UK, where I tested the effect of new treatments for dementia and schizophrenia on brain activity. I have a PhD in Cognitive Neuroscience, investigating neural cognition using functional magnetic resonance.
