Each season starts with the preparation of commercial fishing vessels, nets, and outboard motors. When the salmon season begins, fishermen are expected to labor weeks on end with around 2-4 hours of sleep per day during the openings. On average we deliver 8000 pounds of salmon per day peaking up to 12,000 pounds per day. All work is manual labor, challenging your body and mind to tough out the season with little sleep, hard work, and severe ocean elements.
