Reporting to the Deputy School Manager, my role was to co-ordinate all Level One administration in addition to supporting the Academic Programmes Team with all the Business School events both at an Undergraduate and Postgraduate Level.My key responsibilities for this position were:- Coordinating assignment submissions across subject areas (sorting, checking-in, distribution and hand-back). Creating and managing mark sheets and entering marks onto the SITS database- Producing exam board paperwork and module panel paperwork using Business Objects and Excel- Supporting/attending examination boards and module panels, ensuring these ran efficiently and complied with University regulations and guidelines whilst also ensuring that the relevant information was recorded accurately and that appropriate follow up action was taken. - Supporting the Senior Administrators in the implementation of quality systems including, where appropriate, liaising with external and internal examiners, and the preparation and dispatch of paperwork to external examiners- Working in conjunction with the Senior Administrators in the monitoring of students holding Tier 4 visas- Assisting with the collection and processing of module evaluation- Assisting in communicating key information to students and staff through email, Blackboard Learn and text messaging software- Assisting in the provision of administrative support to committees of the School through organisation of an agenda and taking minutes when required- Processing transcript requests from current and past students- Being one of the first points of contact for staff, student and visitor enquiries, in person, by telephone and email. This included covering Front of House as part of a rota system.
