Stonewall is the national charity for lesbian, gay, bisexual and trans people. My work sits in the Education for All campaign- which aims to prevent and tackle homophobic, biphobic and transphobic bullying in Britain's schools. My main responsibilities include:- Facilitating teacher training CPD courses around England- Providing tailored and ongoing support to 800+ members of the School Champions programme who go on to deliver training to over 20,000 colleagues- Writing education resources and publications for members- Organising events for members including best practice seminars- Ensuring members engage with Stonewall campaigns, such as NoBystanders, Rainbow laces and LGBT History Month- Representing Stonewall at nation wide educational events and groups , e.g. Safer Internet Day and Anti-Bullying APPG In addition:- I co-ordinate the Initial Teacher Training programme, to reach 1800 trainee teachers each year- I manage the Stonewall University Guide

- Project managed and developed bespoke debate training programmes for students, teachers, and employees which have grown in scope and size by six times in two years, now generating a revenue stream of c. £250,000 across the UK and abroad- Responsible for marketing and communication strategy, content research, strategic planning, development, co-ordination, delivery, evaluation, and budgeting of programmes- Includes co-ordination and delivery of large scale events and competitions 400+ attendees- Develop and manage client and partner relations with organisations such as Intelligence Squared, Newham Council, House of Lords, Economist Educational Foundation, Harris Federation, BBC, as well with individual schools with much repeat business year on year- Responsible for social media and branding of organisation which involves commenting and researching on policy and current affairs- Member of the steering group for an ongoing large scale educational project application. Undertook research working with consultants and educational experts as well as academic research, writing substantial sections of the application, leading the marketing and campaigning and co-ordinating the completion of the application.

1. Management of Manchester school debate mentoring programme and other London programmes as part of the UK wide programme in 220 schools, 6 cities with 400 university mentors and 4000 students each week. Direct responsibility for 32 schools and 40 student mentors and responsibilities including:-developing a marketing and brand strategy for the programme to attract schools, mentors and students-recruitment, training, selection and weekly monitoring of student mentors (over 1000 through the door)-large scale competition (500+ attendees) and project management, including of evaluation and development of programmes and resources including debate topic setting and research- tripled the Manchester programme in size in two years2. International programmes – programme leader for Nepal and Hong Kong summer programme 2012, for which I managed 12 student volunteers across 3 cities for 4 weeks 3. Fundraising and publicity - spoke in debates at key fundraising and public events – deciding debate motions, producing both written and spoken briefings for external speakers
