I am currently the Wellcome Sanger Institute's Technician Commitment Manager, leading the initiative at the organisation. I oversee our six working groups and support the 40+ volunteers to lead projects alongside their day jobs in order to make an impact for our technical staff.I am also the chair of our campus Disability Network, supporting people across the Wellcome Genome Campus who are affected by any type of disability or neurodivergence. I lead an operation group who help to organise support groups, awareness and community events and much more.I was previously a Management Trainee on the Wellcome Sanger Institute’s Management Training programme. My rotations were in Finance, Scientific Operations, the Change Management Office (now Strategic Delivery and Transformation) and Procurement.I completed my Master’s in Genomic Medicine at Imperial College London in 2022, having graduated with a first class Biology degree from the University of Nottingham.Highlights:I am a member of British Mensa.
