Responsible for the design and implementation of federally-funded affordable housing programs, including the development of program guidelines detailing the use and requirements of state funding programs, issuance of Notices of Funding Availability (NOFA), application review, funding recommendations, fund disbursement and monitoring.

Assumed leadership role for grassroots political advocacy organization, IndivisibleSF, following the 2016 election. As liaison between our members and our elected officials at the federal, state, and local levels, planned and organized monthly meetings with senior staff, with up to 25 members and community partners in attendance. In preparation, researched pending legislation at the local, state, and federal levels and prepared briefing memos, recommending positions we wanted our elected officials to take on pending legislation and political and judicial nominees, along with recommendations for new legislation and amendments to existing or pending legislation that we wanted our elected officials to introduce. Contributed to our weekly newsletter, by researching and writing issues-related calls-to-action, with which to inform our diverse 4,000+members and motivate them to contact their representatives in support of our legislative priorities. Participated in voter outreach activities, locally, throughout California, and nationally, using a variety of canvassing and outreach methods. Partnered with civil rights organizations on a variety of campaigns, and actively participated in public events, hearings, and rallies. Facilitated passage of AB-3131, during the 2017–2018 legislative session of the California State legislature. Was also an enumerator for the U.S. Census Bureau and the top fundraiser for Grassroots Campaign SF.

Specializing in real estate financing for 1-4 unit properties, I transitioned from a very rewarding 22-year career in business-to-business IT account management, business development, and sales to mortgage loan origination, where, for 13 years, I delivered exceptional service and results to my network of real estate clients, realtors, and developers and builders, successfully funding all but a single loan in 13 years. In addition to managing my own book of clientele, I was also the preferred lender on multiple new condominium projects throughout the culturally-diverse San Francisco Bay Area, where I was the primary point of contact for mortgage lending services and was consistently rated a 10-out-of-10 on post-close customer satisfaction surveys 98% of the time.

Enjoyed a rewarding and successful career in IT business-to-business sales and account management, working for Fortune 500 corporations as well as a variety of start-up companies in the U.S. and the United Kingdom, selling hardware, software, telecommunications, and professional implementation, outsourcing, and recruiting services to C-level decision makers of Fortune 1000 firms.• Established new business relationships with corporate clients such as Amazon.com, APL, Barclay’s Bank, PeopleSoft (now Oracle), and Wells Fargo Bank, providing IT recruiting and staffing services;• Was top producer in a region of 10 account managers, achieving 125% of quota, providing managed hosting services;• Achieved 235% of quota, providing e-marketing and personalization software solutions to corporate clients such as Charles Schwab, NBC, and Wells Fargo Bank;• Was responsible for sales of $1.5M in project management software and related services to corporate clients in the Pacific Northwest and Northern California, including ADP, Airborne Express, Clorox, The Gap, and Weyerhaeuser;• Was responsible for $1.3M in sales of automated software diagnostic tools to corporate clients in the Pacific Northwest and Northern California, including Blue Cross/Blue Shield, Genentech, Pacific Bell, U.S. West, VISA, Wells Fargo Bank, and Xerox;• Established and developed over 45 new reference accounts, with primary sponsors being Corporate Controllers, VPs of Finance, and Planning Directors, providing enterprise budgeting software.
