I am a GBC LEED AP BD+C and a Fitwel Ambassador and I have experiences with ESG, WELL, DNSH and Three Star Chinese Rating System, I am a registered architect in Italy. I have work experiences both in the Uk and in Italy, in the private and public sector. For about 15 years now I have been involved with topics of sustainability, renewable energy sources and climate change. In this field I obtained a Ba and a MArch. (hons) in Architecture and Civil Engineering, a MSc in Sustainable Environmental Design at the Architectural Association, London, and a Diploma (one year long course) in Sustainability Management. The MSc provided me with the fundamentals of theory, technology and practical issues regarding design and management of interventions in the building sector, dealing with topics such as: mobility, water consumptions (water footprint), energy consumptions, pollution and CO2 emissions, carbon footprint (LCA), waste management, wellness and comfort (internal and external). With this, I acquired the tools to reduce pollution and costs and increase productivity and well-being of an activity. The Diploma, on the other hand, provided me with a broader view of managing aspects of sustainability. For about three years I have studied and worked as an architectural assistant and sustainability expert in London. There, I had the chance to work on a wide range of projects, with different uses (residential, commercial, educational, etc.) at various scale, from preliminary concept design to construction drawings. Back to Italy, in parallel with architecture field, I have also worked in the Minister Cabinet at the Ministry of Economic Development following, in this context I also collaborated with Cabina di Regia Benessere Italia, established by the Italian Prime Minister as the highest national board for sustainability policies. have work experiences in preparing and developing architectural drawings or design options, in working as project architect and in working as a sustainable designer specialist or consultant in multidisciplinary teams, working independently or coordinating work teams. Since 2022, together with some personal projects, I am collaborating with some architectural offices in Milan, as project architect for a big residential development, and as architect and sustainable design specialist, developing, among other things, sustainable design solutions, following LEED, WELL and Wired Score certifications and pre-assessment, writing CAM and DNSH technical reports and delivering urban integration and design solutions and strategies at various scale.
