As a third-year undergraduate student at Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona, pursuing a Bachelor's degree in 𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗽𝘂𝘁𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗠𝗮𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗺𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗰𝘀 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗗𝗮𝘁𝗮 𝗔𝗻𝗮𝗹𝘆𝘁𝗶𝗰𝘀, I seek to strengthen my technical skills for a career in Data Science and Machine Learning. Actively seeking a 𝘀𝘂𝗺𝗺𝗲𝗿 𝗶𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗻𝘀𝗵𝗶𝗽 to apply my knowledge in real-world settings.Currently completing my third year, I've excelled in courses such as Complex Data Analysis, Machine Learning, High-Performance Computing, Neural Networks, and Distributed Systems and Cloud. I've received 𝗵𝗼𝗻𝗼𝗿 𝗿𝗲𝗰𝗼𝗴𝗻𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗶𝗻 𝟭𝟮 𝗰𝗼𝘂𝗿𝘀𝗲𝘀 and maintained an average of 𝟵.𝟬𝟰 𝗼𝘂𝘁 𝗼𝗳 𝟭𝟬 𝗶𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗳𝗶𝗿𝘀𝘁 𝟭𝟱𝟬 𝗰𝗿𝗲𝗱𝗶𝘁𝘀. Additionally, I've engaged in hands-on projects: - 𝗥𝗲𝘀𝗲𝗮𝗿𝗰𝗵 𝗖𝗼𝗹𝗹𝗮𝗯𝗼𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗼𝗿 - 𝗚𝗙𝗜𝗥𝗘: Developing a fuel type mapping model utilizing Catalonia LiDAR data, I process LiDAR and TIFF data, generate shape-based features, establish correlations with fuel types, conduct feature selection using PCA, and implement UNet for semantic segmentation.- 𝗙𝗮𝘀𝗵𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗽𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗯𝗶𝗹𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗩𝗔𝗘𝗦: Improved a Fashion Compatibility VAES machine learning project, presenting a scalable solution for outfit creations with instant recommendations for customers, defined criteria for valid outfit combinations, and utilized Variational Autoencoders to generate valid outfits from unseen data.- 𝗦𝘁𝗮𝗿𝘁 𝗨𝗻𝗶𝗰𝗼𝗿𝗻 𝗛𝗮𝗰𝗸𝗮𝘁𝗵𝗼𝗻: Developed an innovative project idea based on an app to optimize retail shopping experiences, securing 𝟮𝗻𝗱 𝗽𝗹𝗮𝗰𝗲 𝗼𝘂𝘁 𝗼𝗳 𝟮𝟲 𝘁𝗲𝗮𝗺𝘀.I bring a strong foundation in computational mathematics, data analysis, and machine learning, as evidenced by my academic achievements and practical experience. My involvement in projects such as GFIRE and Fashion Compatibility VAES has honed my skills in developing predictive models and extracting actionable insights from data.
