Customer Solutions Engineer
CurrentAs part of our publication project team, in addition to collaborative work on the form and process, I refined the dynamically-generated e-mail templates and Knowledge Views needed for their approval process, and set up a process that collects relevant data after process completion and exports it for another vendor. Our implementation team assists clients in troubleshooting their processes. Since these are usually processes we haven’t seen before, but frequently have configuration settings that we have encountered, I created a Wiki for the team where we compile shared tips as a reference guide. I joined our internal team developing a client's collaborative research application project, which includes multiple forms, workflows, and Knowledge Views (KVs). The process extends invitations to new and existing users, allowing relevant parties to collaborate, then integrating with another process upon completion. The goal of the Reporting project was to automate several time-consuming KVs for reporting purposes. The final solution exports the results to database tables monthly, which is scheduled on the server. In an effort to standardize the data uploaded for a specific submission type in the client’s system, I added functionality that generates a PDF using a template and specific fields that are entered on the form, replacing the standard file upload option for that submission type. We added Shared Delegation to the client’s system, giving the delegate access to the delegator’s tasks, while leaving them available for the delegators. This allows users to share all of their task list with designated delegates while continuing to work on it. I worked with English, Chinese, and Japanese strings and resource files for the client’s Language Translation project. Strings across the system were changed to use the system variable encoding of the string, which then displays in the user’s selected language; untranslated strings default to English.
