I've worked at the Newport County YMCA since 2011 working in almost every department. I started out as a camp counselor for the summer gymnastics camp and then began teaching gymnastics classes and team. I then began to also work birthday parties for sports, swimming, and gymnastics. I also work in the wellness center monitoring guests and ensure their being safe while exercising. In addition, I work at the front desk checking people in and working as a membership representative signing members up for memberships and programs.

Magic Kingdom

I completed the Disney College Program spring semester of my sophomore year at ECU. I worked quick service food and beverage at the ESPN Wide World of Sports but had the opportunity to also work at various resorts, water parks, and Magic Kingdom all on the Walt Disney World property! I worked in concession stands, food courts, the grille, the beer garden and many others! The spring semester of my junior year at ECU I completed another program, this time working in full service food and beverage. I was a hostess at Trattoria Al Forno on the boardwalk. I checked in guests, made reservations, sat guests and assigned seating. I just finished my third program as a vacation planner in Magic Kingdom. Here, I had great guest interactions daily and handled over $30,000 in sales everyday.
