I've been passionate about biology and chemistry for as long as I can remember. My curiosity about the natural world began in childhood, driving me to constantly ask questions about organisms and life, and it hasn’t stopped since. I am a fourth-year biology and chemistry student, future professional laboratory technologist, with 4 years experience in laboratory techniques and experiment management. I’ve worked with a wide range of laboratory techniques, including Spectrophotometry, PCR, ELISA and Chromatography. My ambition is to contribute to healthcare using my laboratory skills and scientific knowledge.Right now I am actively participating in 4 organizations that are dedicated to increasing diversity in STEM fields and also developing operating and managing skills. I want to pursue opportunities that can enhance my skills to contribute to improve patient outcomes. I believe that the best way to learn is by doing, and so I want to apply my skills in real-world settings. In my personal time, I enjoy gardening, hiking different areas in New Jersey and New York, painting landscapes, photographing different plant and bird species in iNaturalist and trying new sports like ziplining and canoeing. I have a passion for health and wellness, which is why I love staying active and exploring nature. I am also fluent in English and Spanish, and want to learn more languages so that I can communicate with more people. As I continue to develop my career in laboratory work, I am eager to connect with like-minded individuals who share my drive for scientific advancement and improving healthcare outcomes.Want to know more about my background?
