About Francine Katrina Chen

Hello, my name is Katrina Chen and I am an Emergency Medicine PA-C from USC Primary Care Physician Assistant Program. I completed my Bachelor's degree at Northeastern University in Boston, MA, where I discovered my drive for this career path during my internship with medically disabled children. From then on out, I expanded my experiences from being a scribe in the ED and in Orthopedic Medicine, to an ophthalmic technician, and ultimately becoming a certified EMT. Continuing to serve the community, I was a volunteer in the ED in my hometown in California, and a volunteer medical assistant in a mission trip to Mexico. As for my future, I strive to be a compassionate and comprehensive provider working with a diverse, supportive team.Outside of work, I enjoy painting, drawing, crafting, hiking, camping, snowboarding, and most of all- traveling. Traveling allows me to gain a new perspective while immersing myself in a new community.
