Chris Ryder has over 20 years of experience in the financial services industry, with a strong focus on blockchain infrastructure, digital securities, investment research, and capital markets. Currently, Chris serves as the Head of WisdomTree Transfers, a role he assumed after WisdomTree acquired the company from Securrency, Inc. in April 2023. Before joining WisdomTree, Chris was with Securrency, Inc., where he was instrumental in establishing Securrency Securities, Securrency Digital Trading, and Securrency Transfers. He held the position of President for all three business entities. His leadership led to Securrency Digital Trading being granted FINRA membership, making it one of the first digital ATS platforms approved for transacting in digital securities. Additionally, he helped establish a digital transfer agent, now known as WisdomTree Transfers, which supports all WisdomTree digital funds.Prior to Securrency, Chris held a Director-level role at Park Avenue Securities, a subsidiary of Guardian Life Insurance Company of America. There, he launched the firm’s first automated advisory platform, assembled an investment research team, revamped its investment product due diligence processes, and oversaw its asset allocation models.Chris’ career began with a focus on capital markets at Fidelity Investments, where he served as a Vice President. His early experience included trading fixed income derivatives at Bankers Trust, mortgage-backed securities at Cantor Fitzgerald, and equities and research at Bear Stearns, later JP Morgan.
