Playing a key role in regional and national mapping exercises in more than 15 African countries for IFDC, One Acre Fund, Benckiser Stiftung Zukunft, Coffee Research Foundations and Authorities, TechnoServe, Ministries of Agriculture, KTDA, UNDP, World Bank, African Development Bank and many others with a combined worth of more than USD 2 Million.This through managing and coordination of all projects and mapping activities from client engagement onset, proposal development, project formulation, planning and management, training and coordination, data collection, analysis and presentation and act at a technical and advisory role within the data science team as the lead GIS data scientist as well as support of all GIS related needs throughout the company and its mandate' and by extension contributing to; Provision of technical knowledge and support to the various project teams across the different countries with trainings, on data collection skills and techniques, data collection exercise support and the interpretation of the same. Ensuring all company GIS needs are met timely through creation of efficient action plans against yearly company goals. Executing the mandated responsibility of provision of status and progress reports across all projects and activities that includes achievements, challenges and insights, risk benefit analysis that advised the company’s future plans and measured against the company’s quarterly and yearly goals. Stakeholder engagement during and after project execution on outcomes, learnings, way froward and future potential opportunities pertaining stakeholder interests and partnerships across the wider agricultural sector. Additionally, as a result of the same, playing a key role in capacity building development targeting the various key parties and contributing towards partnerships strengthening and growth.

Worked within the Information and Knowledge Management Department as a GIS analyst doing GIS data collection and analysis methodologies in project monitoring and management, GPS campaigns coordination, research data analysis using GIS, dissemination of research findings using map posters in project organized workshops and training on application of GIS technology in resource management.
