- Developed Human Machine Interface (HMI) for two glycol loop chillers which keep critical equipment in 28,175 square foot lab within 60 to 65 degrees Fahrenheit on ICONICS SCADA system by identifying a circuit component representative of chiller status and designating a VAV control panel to connect chillers to- Determined method for connecting chillers to Variable Air Volume (VAV) controller by assessing control voltage, wire length, signal frequency, and labor versus material costs then designed a wiring termination diagram to guide technicians- Programmed VAV controller through Johnson Controls International’s CCT and Metasys, imported points into OPC server, developed graphics on ICONICS SCADA, and implemented alarms for when chillers shut off- Produced a scope of work, edited AutoCAD drawings, and collaborated with contractors to gain quote for a $95,000 HVAC controls system upgrade for Texas Instruments’ Data Center then constructed a presentation to gain capital funding- Authored a training presentation for future engineers and technicians to use in creating future scopes of work for HVAC controls system upgrades
