An apprenticeship under the advisership of Dr. Marvin M. Flores involving participation in a workshop developed by his PhD students, focusing on essential tools in high-energy physics (HEP), including PYTHIA, MadGraph, RIVET, HepMC, ROOT, and CheckMATE.During this apprenticeship, I worked on simulations and analyses of proton-proton collisions, studying top-antitop quark pair production and electron-positron pair production. I also deepened my knowledge of particle physics by reading "The Ideas of Particle Physics" by James E. Dodd and Ben Gripaios. This hands-on experience enhanced my technical skills in event generation, data analysis, and high-energy physics theory. The code and analysis on the proton-proton collisions can be found at my github link: https://github.com/sherkaicode/HepPh_Midyear
