The responsibilities and job description remained the same.🧪️ Responsibilities: - Functions performed mainly in the area of Cell Biology, in the GLP Laboratories Test Facility of Ascenza Agro;- Expertise in the Genetic Toxicology test "In Vitro Mammalian Cell Gene Mutation Tests Using the Thymidine Kinase Gene ‑ Mouse Lymphoma Assay" (CGM‑MLA) (OECD Teste No. 490);- GLP Materials Manager (substitute);- Participation in internal/ external audits;- Conducting GLP-compliant studies and performing analyses according to study plans and internal procedures for evaluating technical products, metabolites, impurities, and formulations;- GLP studies documentation;- Cell culture manipulation and work under aseptic conditions;- Daily laboratory organization (cell culture, preparation of media/ solutions/ standards/ consumables, annual calibration and verification plan, equipments, stocks, contacts with suppliers, microbiological monitoring, waste management, and others).🏆 Main achievements:- Development, implementation and optimization of mutagenicity test "In Vitro Mammalian Cell Gene Mutation Tests Using the Thymidine Kinase Gene ‑ Mouse Lymphoma Assay (CGM‑MLA)" (OECD Test No. 490) with the aim of developing GLP-compliant studies;- Development of technical knowledge and optimization regarding the genotoxicity test “In Vitro Mammalian Cell Micronucleus Test” (OECD Test No. 487);- Development of knowledge regarding Ames Test - Bacterial Reverse Mutation Test (OECD Test No. 471);- Development and optimization of technical/standard operational and laboratory management procedures within the scope of GPL Quality System in the area of Cell Biology, Microbiology and others general to the GLP Test Facilities of Ascenza Agro;- Optimization of cell culture procedures;- Optimization of time (2 weeks) and technical procedures of CGM assay.

🧠 Research work on glioblastoma, using: - Molecular Biology techniques; - Cell culture of glioblastoma cell lines.>> I began this voluntary internship to further develop my Final Degree Project as part of the curricular unit "Project in Biochemistry". I then continued the research in my master's program and completed my thesis in the same area of study.
