• Economic and financial presentations on the economic scenario, exchange rate prospects and analysis of interest rates in Chile for Chilean and foreign companies, institutional customers (pension fund and insurance companies) and foreign investors, mostly investment banks, in Santiago and the regions in Chile.• Presentation and reporting of the macroeconomic and financial scenarios in Chile, the USA and the Andean region in internal meetings with senior management, the board of directors, Wealth Management area, Treasury, Bci’s Stock Broker, among others.• Participation and collaboration with the International Treasury Management and Investor Relations Management regarding the placement of bonds, preparation of the necessary documents like the euro medium-term note (EMTN) programme in European markets, and conference calls with investors.• Participation in committees with the risk and planning management, in which macroeconomic and financial forecasts are reported quarterly for Bci’s annual planning, loan strategies and critical risks.• Coordination and editing of the preparation of various reports, like the “Economic Report” and “Bci Weekly,” which provide an analysis of the economic and financial situation and give important economic forecasts of the exchange rate and fixed income. • Participation in the drafting of different reports prepared by management, which include “Prospects in Latin America,” “Local and International Fixed-Income Market,” “Foreign Exchange Market Outlook,” among others.• Preparation of significant reports on Chile’s current economic trend related to international issues, like “Monetary Policy Divergence,” “Latin America’s Exports,” “Capital Flows to Latin America,” among others. These are distributed to customers and published in the printed media.• Focus on the continuous improvement of management products by creating and transforming content.

• Entregar estimaciones de corto plazo de variables macroeconómicas como inflación, tasa de desempleo y crecimiento no minero, que son utilizadas como inputs para la elaboración de la Ley de Presupuesto del año siguiente.• Entregar estimaciones de mediano plazo de variables macroeconómicas las cuales son utilizadas como inputs para el cálculo del PIB minero no tendencial para los 4 años siguientes a la Ley de Presupuesto. Esto a su vez, es una de las variables para calcular el Balance Estructural del Gobierno de mediano plazo.

• Coordination and supervision of junior analysts to draw up reports and presentations for weekly meetings and monetary policy meetings of the Studies Division and Council.• Monthly macroeconomic and financial presentation of the benchmark portfolio countries to the international market management and financial stability management, in which the bank’s international reserves and the reserve funds of the State of Chile are invested.• Presentation on the benchmark portfolio countries for the report on the quarterly reserve funds to the Council and Treasury. • Presentation of the international economic scenario to the Studies Division and International Market Management for the monetary policy meetings.• Elaboration of various macrofinancial studies for the weekly meetings of the Council, monetary policy meetings and monetary policy report.

• Monitoring and studies of the main macrofinancial variables of Chile’s leading trade partners.• Complete follow-up and analysis of international financial markets and monetary policy decisions of developed countries, with experience regarding macroeconomic analysis of the United States, Europe, Japan and Latin America.• Presentation on the economic and financial analysis of the international scenario to the International Market Management. • Preparation of notes and abstracts for the economic trend and monetary policy reports on financial and monetary policy issues.

• Trained in the company investment area: Studies and Risk Management, and Investment Management at Sura Pension Fund Administration (PFA). • Elaborated risk reports on corporate debt issuance in the Chilean market and quarterly reports of the PFA’s investment funds, also trained in the trading desk: Forex market, equity local market and foreign investments.
