- Assist therapists with direct patient care during therapy, examples of which are gait training, aqua therapy, or serial casting. - Enable therapists to provide optimal care in group therapy sessions by engaging directly with individuals or groups - acting as an extension of the therapist; providing physical support, guidance, encouragement.- Manage volunteers and educate them on TBI/stroke patient behavior to promote a safe and beneficial experience for staff, patients, and volunteers; informing volunteers of where and when they can best support therapists in therapy sessions or outside of them.- Manage supplies and therapy equipment inventory and maintain clean and orderly clinical areas.
